Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled Social Media Account Manager with expertise in digital and social media to join our young and dynamic team in Riverhorse Valley, Durban. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring great customer service, and meeting their social media and design marketing requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with clients in a professional manner, overseeing administrative tasks such as briefing design jobs/tasks on Chase Software (training will be provided) and ensuring timely delivery before deadlines.
- Be confident to engage with clients and present social media performance in meetings alongside the Account Director.
- Demonstrate experience in META Suite, Google Suite, boosting ads and managing small paid media campaigns effectively (Facebook Ads Manager).
- Possess social media expertise, including content plan creation (copywriting skills are advantageous!).
- Manage a portfolio of clients, acting as their primary point of contact.
- Help plan small photography and videography related shoots with the guidance of the client and Account Director.
- Foster and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring their utmost satisfaction.
- Oversee digital and social media campaigns.
- Be able to report on monthly social media performance.
- Collaborate seamlessly with internal teams to ensure prompt project and campaign delivery.
Requirements and Skills:
- Previous advertising or marketing agency experience is very advantageous!
- Must have a car and a valid driver’s license.
- Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of solid experience in an advertising or marketing agency,
- focusing on design, digital and social media marketing.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Excellent organizational and project management aptitude.
- Proven ability to take ownership of projects and confidently interact with clients.
- Capability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Sound knowledge of social media and digital marketing platforms and tools.
- Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting data to make informed decisions.
- Effective multitasking and prioritization skills.
